T-Graphics wins World Championships

The 65 and older softball team, T-Graphics who have competed in the National Senior Games Association, and other national events captured the First place award at the 2004 ISSA World Championships at Manassas, Virginia.  They finished with a record of 6 wins and only one loss.

Not only did our team finish as champions, there were several individual honors.   Members of T-Graphics who made the All-World Team are Jack Abshire, Curt Akers, Bobby Lawson, Mickey Sydenstricker, and Ray Zornes.

Most Valuable Player went to Jack Baisden.

Best Offensive Player went to Dave Swartzwelder

Our very own Robert "Red" Jones, who has served on the WVSSC Executive committee since its inception, was named Manager of the Year.  He has been organizing and managing teams in the Charleston area for many years and this award is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the local Senior Sports movement.
